Enjoy all South Devon has to offer, including a stay at The Palace at Paignton Hotel situated on the seafront in the delightful town of Paignton, the area known as Torbay. Victorian visitors were so struck by the similarities between Torbay and the South of France they named the beautiful palm-tree lined coast 'The English Riviera'. There are twenty two miles of coastline, cliffs coves and beaches in the South West of England with a climate that belongs much further south.

We have arranged three days of outings which we hope you will enjoy - Steam Train ride along the south coast, boat trip on River Dart, and a coach trip into Dartmoor finishing in Plymouth. Then a splendid day to Torquay in the morning and Babbacombe Model Village in the afternoon. You will not want to leave Babbacombe!
