5 Day Coach Holiday Tour from
pickups in Northern Ireland

4****Queens at Chester Hotel

Visit Chester! Its bewitching beauty and unique atmosphere make Chester one of Britain's most popular places for an unforgettable short break. The ancient city is a truly breath taking experience. Each chapter of Chester's history is etched into the very fabric of the city. Well, you are walking where Roman Legionaires marched to war, Viking raiders wreaked havoc and Norman invaders conquered Anglo Saxons. Chester has the most complete city walls, the oldest racecourse, and the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, plus a 1000 year old Cathedral with Europe's finest example of medieval carvings - and of course the one and only 700 year old Rows galleries where shopping is a double delight. A wonderful celebration of the Cheshire countryside, agriculture, food and family fun the Royal Cheshire County Show celebrates its 188th year in 2024.

QUEEN AT CHESTER HOTEL is a 4****property centrally located in Chester. The Queen at Chester, BW Premier Collection first opened in 1860, and offers grand Victorian-style rooms and free WiFi. The city centre is within walking distance. All rooms at the property have satellite TV and 24-hour room service. Full English breakfast and three course dinner is provided. The hotel features several dining options like the new Kings' Grill restaurant and the more informal option, The Waiting Room. Chester Zoo is 3.7 miles away from the property and Cheshire Oaks is 6.6 miles away. This is our guests' favourite part of Chester, according to independent reviews. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.0 for a two-person trip. We have requested coach parking at the hotel.

There are so many interesting things to do in Chester (apart from shopping) and a little further afield in Cheshire that it will be difficult to leave out those things we don’t have time to do on this trip. Chester is great for groups – where else can you enjoy such diversity. Shops, eateries, architecture, and heritage to please every taste. An ideal destination to explore as individuals.
