Customers Frequently Ask Us?

Q. What are the special interests on your tours?

  • The special interest are wide ranging, however we seek to share our love of the countryside with many groups each year, and we find that our customers are keenly interested in 'seeing and doing holidays' including farming, gardening and visiting new places.

Q. Are your holidays Christian holidays?

  • We do not sell our holidays as Christian holidays, since they are open to all, however many Christians choose HUTTONS holidays and we believe that the christian ethos within our business is of benefit to all.

Q. What grade of hotel do HUTTONS use and what meal plan?

  • Generally we use 3 and 4 star hotels some with leisure facilities. We check all hotels where possible. HUTTONS holidays are based on half board (Dinner Bed & Breakfast) except where otherwise stated.

Q. What is the standard of coaches on the touring holidays?

  • Our coach tours depart from Northern Ireland with pickups from mid-Ulster to Belfast and the coaches used are of the highest standard. Equally on our air/coach holidays abroad we insist on good quality coaching.

Q. Are family rooms available and what discount?

  • In most case hotels can provide family rooms to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. The discount however is entirely dependent on the policy of each hotel but HUTTONS will supply this information to you on request.

Q. What is the policy on smoking on board the coach?

  • There is a no-smoking and no-alcohol policy on board all our coach tours.

Q. Can specific coach seats be pre-booked?

  • Book early for front seats as seating position is based on the date your booking form is received in our office, with allocation starting from the front of the coach. Your seat number will be advised to you on our joining instructions letter two weeks before the tour departs.

Q. Must I book insurance with HUTTONS?

  • No, providing you have other insurance cover for the holiday you are booking with HUTTONS then we are satisfied with that.

Q. What is the position regarding insurance where I (or a dependent relative) have a health problem?

  • Firstly, it is vital that your GP (or consultant) is in agreement with your choice of holiday and in regard to booking insurance with HUTTONS you must read the 'General Health Warranty' on the reverse side of the booking form and where necessary ask us for the Medical Declaration Form.

Q. Does the HUTTONS Tour Leader always arrange evening activities?

  • No, not always, particularly where there is a busy day-time programme evening activities will be kept to a minimum and conversely in the case of resort holidays the Tour Leader will endeavour to bring the group together some evenings. All activities are optional!
